About Roadie Rose
Hip Hop recording artist out of South Central Los Angeles, Roadie Rose best describes his music as captivating, honest, charismatic, that is born from the streets. He finds his inspiration from artists such as Jay-Z, Tupac, Nas, and Ice Cube. Roadie emerged out of the Nipsey Hussle Camp determined to step out on his own and make a name for himself. Roadie carries a fresh and overwhelming confidence, and he uses that along with the life he endured on the streets in music. He channels his experiences from prison, following in his father’s footsteps, and his life as a hustler to produce music that is real and raw.
A Los Angeles native, born and raised in the Pueblo Projects, his story is truly from rags to riches. Often living in the shadow of his father, Roadie grew up choosing the life as a hustler, and later becoming a member of the rolling 60’s crips. That life led him down a path of targeting the wealthy and robbing them, which was known as flocking. Between 03’ and 08’ he spent years juggling his criminal past and music, but he was determined to finesse life into a passion for just music.
Roadie has worked and associated with some of the best artist and producers including, the late Nipsey Hussle, J- Stone, Nick Fury, Dominque Sanders and many others. Roadie has carved out a path that is all his own, with a sound that is real, unique, and raw.
